### Pleas help ASAP.... Thank you

Hey there!

For this problem and future problems like these, you'll want to memorize the phrase "SOHCAHTOA," which indicates which sides of the triangle are equal to which trigonomic function.

Sine = Opposite/Hypotenuse

Based on that, you need to know which sides on the triangle are which. I attached an image for reference. The image I attached references the right angle, however, you'll want to reference angle A on your triangle instead, based on the problem.

Hope this helped you out! :-)

TRUE. I'm going to be using a picture from Google to help me out. In the graph below the line plots are telling how much Sarah's is as the years past. Each line plot tell the data of how much her car cost in whatever year the plot is in. For example, in 2006 her car cost \$10,000. How do we know? We know this because the line plot is point towards 10,000 and downwards to 2006. This is data that the line plots are displaying fro us.So yes, line plots do display individual data.

### You usually buy a 16.5 -ounce bottle of shampoo. There is a new bottle that says it gives you 30% more free. What is the best equation

The best equation is y= 16.5+0.3x

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The bottle contain 16.5-ounce bottle of shampoo

A new bottle gives 30% more free in it

i.e. original+30% of original = new

16.5+0.3(16.5)= 21.45 amount of shampoo is in new bottle

so the best equation to define the answer is y= 16.5+0.3x

### Can someone help me find the area of the shaded region? is it just the area of the circle?

The shaded region is the area of the circle minus the area
of the pentagon.
A circle = pi * r^2
A circle = pi * 15^2
A circle = 706.5 cm^2

A regular pentagon = (a * p)/2 where a is the apothem, p is the perimeter.
The apothem id the perpendicular height from the midpoint of a side to the center of the pentagon.
To find the apothem you have to use a trig ratio.
A pent = (8.3 * 12*5)/2
A pent = 249 cm^2

Shaded region: circle - pentagon 706.5 - 249 = 457.5

### Two cars leave the same location traveling in opposite directions. One car leaves at 3:00 p.m. traveling at an average rate of 55 miles per hour. The other car leaves at 4:00 p.m. traveling at an average rate of 75 miles per hour. Let x represent the number of hours after the first car leaves. How many hours after the first car leaves will the two cars be 380 miles apart? equation: hours; so i kinda got this down but if the 55mph leaves first it would take 6.9 (379.5 to be miles apart from car b) or 7 hours ( to be 385 miles apart from car b) the thing is i dont have a exact hour that would make them 380 miles apart on the dot but i am close

It would be 6.95, (follow what you were doing, just do 6.95)
